It's my berfday!

It's my birthday. I told Mommy we would have a party tonight and she asked me what we would do at the party so I told her we should paint the toilet.
I also told her I would use my hammer to help put up decorations.

Mommy and Daddy picked me up at Poppy and Grandbam's and then we came home and watched Cars...but then I wanted to dance. Mama
put my favorite song on, "Tattoo". And I jumped on a pillow then laid down on the ground and kicked my legs in the air for awhile. Then I asked mama
if we could celebrate hannukah. She said we could light the candles but since hannukah is over, no presents. And I said I wanted to blow the candles out.
I'm practicing for when I have a cake. We lite the candles and said the Mishma musha, but I think mommy sang "Baruch atah adonai..." or something.
Then I blew out the candles. Then we pretended it was my birthday and mommy lite the candles. Then I blew out the candles. Then we pretended it was mommy's birthday
and Daddy and I sang happy birthday. Then I blew out the candles. Then we pretended it was daddy's birthday and mommy and I sang to him. Then Daddy blew out
most of the candles, but I helped.

Then they made me go to bed. First mommy and I went to my tent and read Spot books. Then she tried to start another book but I didn't like it. Then we read baby books.
Then I wanted a Backyardigans story but then I didn't want the one she read. Then I needed carrots so we went downstairs and got carrots. Then we went back and I told mommy I wanted
to read a book myself. I opened the book but I don't know what the words say..sigh. I was really hoping mommy would read it to me too. Then I needed more carrots.
Then mommy and I got in my tent. Then  I had to go potty. I messed around with daddy downstairs and came back up and then decided we should sleep in the big bed so that
mommy and daddy could make a Sadie sandwich.

After the sandwich I did my best impression of a puppy hyperventilating in a bag, just lots of heavy breathing and thrashy about..I don't really want to go sleep.

Bed Time for Sadie

Tonight Daddy and Mommy and I went to bed. We all sleep in a really big bed together.  I don't like to wear pajamas. I'd take my diaper off too if the big people wouldn't hassle me. I hateblankets. I like to roll around and giggle. Sometimes Daddy shhhs me but I just tell him "No, I'm talking!" or "But I want to laugh!"

Tonight, Mommy read Diego to me. I can't be sure  but I think the book might drive her crazy... or maybe it's because I keep asking "why?".  After we said "Good night books!" I laid on top of Mommy then I rolled off, then I kicked my legs in the air. Then I rolled around and talked to myself. Daddy went downstairs to go potty. He said he was going to bring my Diego book back to bed.

I told Mommy that I had to go use my small potty. She asked me if I had to pee or go poo poo and I told her poop! My plan worked! M-w-ha-hah! Mommy and I got out of bed and we started to go down the stairs. Mommy told me that maybe Daddy would be done on the big potty and I could  use that one. Then I told Mommy that I didn't have to go, I just wanted to get my Diego doll all by myself. Poppy told me "there's a sucker born every minute!" - I think that sucker's name is Mommy!

Did I mention how much I love boobs? I should probably be nicer to Mommy.

Naka and Andy

I like pink NOT Naka. I like pink AND Naka but I like pink first. Mommy says I can like any color I want. She likes Naka too and she likes orange. Daddy likes Naka and pink.

Andy is coming to my house on Saturday to watch soccer really really early. I think mommy thinks she will get to sleep in but not if I have any say in it. I like her out of bed and downstairs. Andy will wear a Naka shirt. Daddy will need one too. Mommy says that Daddy wears one every other day so not to worry. I can't wait to see Andy! I wish he was at my house right now.

Bob the Builder

Grandbam and Poppy gave me a Bob the Builder jackhammer toy. My mommy doesn't like loud noises so we took out the batteries but I like loud noises. Bob is sleeping. Shhh. "Ah, he's just a baby!". I put a blankie on him.

Bob says "Can we build it?"
and I say "No we can't!!!"

When I said that, Mommy and Daddy looked at me like I was some kind of comic genius. Mommy said something to Daddy about my sar-ka-zam skills. I don't know what she means but I know I like to make them laugh. Mommy asked me  if someone taught me to say "No we can't!" and I told her Poppy. He always says funny things and then I say them too. Poppy is poopy. He's funny.

Sometimes mommy calls me Sadie Silverman. That makes her laugh too.

You're poopy!

T-Bone and Trains

My cousin T-Bone was in town the other day, so Mommy and Daddy and I met him and Aunt Danielle and her friend at this neat farm called Iron Kettle.

Every time we're in the car I get a little sleepy, but Mommy kept poking me so I would stay awake. Not sure why she did that, because she and Daddy are always trying to get me to sleep when I just want to play. Parents are so weird.

Anyway, I was barely awake when we got to the farm, but as soon as I saw T-Bone I was happy. He's my favorite cousin! We fed the bunnies and the goats -- my favorites are the babies.

Then we rode on the train. Daddy says I rode the train last year, but I don't remember. T-Bone used to be scared of it, but this time he rode with me and we had fun. See for yourself:

After that we rode around on a big pile of hay looking at scarecrows dressed up as people. Two of them lived in a pumpkin! When I grow up, I think I won't be a scarecrow

It was fun being with T-Bone. We had dinner later, but he wasn't very hungry. I ate everything I could!

My conversation with Daddy

We were in the car the other day and something made Daddy yell.

"Jeezus!"

Daddy knows a lot of words, and I wanted him to know I was learning, so I also yelled "Jeezus!" I guess it means "look out!" or "I'm hungry" or something.

Then Daddy yelled again.

"Shet!" I think he said. So I yelled "shet!" too, because my Daddy is funny.

Then Mommy and Daddy told me not to yell those things, which didn't make a lot of sense.

"Daddy, why are you always yelling at the people?"

Not sure, but I think he said "Because they remind me of your mother."

I like being in the car with my mommy and daddy. Though it's my turn to drive and they won't let me.

Not fair.
